review: seems to work quite well
you could have done it yourself on 56k dialup while reading the docs
yet another player, the only major point is mplayer starts a _lot_ faster
than googleplayer for gvi and it provides an interface for it
like 3-4x faster
mplayer didn't fault any video clips , mp3 or wav I tried with various
codecs
some mpui options need to be uppercase ( at least -LOOP 0 ), and no click
toggles
for them of course
gvi position offset is wrong
9 means decrease volume 0 increase, doesn't use numpad
didn't see the 100% cpu reported , windows on win9x often misreports 100%
mplayer plays .gvi .avi . mpg about half cpu load of the google player and
windows player
clip end/loop isn't very smooth
no association options
playlist is seperate window, so if you have loop on you have to open it and
click next track, swings and roundabouts
doesn't carry all mplayer keys, no speed control
