Can Administrator password be reset?

Sherrie Gentry

I friend of mine upgraded to Win2000 from 98se and when it asked her to
enter a password for Administrator, she thinks she entered a typo and now it
won't let her in Administrator. Is there a way to reset this? She said she
can't download Windows Updates, her virus scanner and other things but it
has let her install some software. When she tries to log in as
Administrator and enters the password it tells her the password is
incorrect. She's on a standalone computer with no network or other users.

Thanks!

Thanks! I emailed her the link. If the other two are more complicated than
this one, we're in big trouble. :)Maybe she can do it.
