Can access firewall settings

When i try to access the windows firewall settings in control panel, it says
"Due to an unidentified problem Windows cannot display windows firewall
settings"
Whats going on here?
Help would be much appreciated.

Start>Run regsvr32 hnetcfg.dll [enter]

In addition to other suggestions , check your computer for
malware(virus/spyware)
