Can a flash drive replace a floppy disk for all functions like, boot updisk, antivirus removal too

Can a thumb drive (flash drive) replace a floppy disk for all functions
like, boot updisk, antivirus removal tools ect.?
 
It will depend on whether your BIOS supports boot from USB devices.

You might want to check in your Motherboard manual or on the motherboard
manufacturers website
