hi,

i have to auto-forward an hourly report to an email
address outside the exchange server (lets say
(e-mail address removed)).

The rule:

If from "(e-mail address removed)" with "java issues" in the
subject, forward it to "(e-mail address removed)".

- works only if i use one of my exchange addresses instead
of "(e-mail address removed)". Is there a workaround. If i dont get a
solution by weekend, i'll endup sitting in office sat and
sun, just to forward mail. :(

Talk to the Exchange administrator. Apparently automatic forwarding to the
Internet is disabled at the server.

thanks sue,

unfortunately my sysadmin (also the exchange admin) thinks
that hez god. isn't there anything else i can do?

If it's blocked at the server, you as a user cannot get around it. Do you
have any other mail account you can send with?
