Camera Wizard will not come up for downloading pictures when I plug in my camera

I am using Windows XP and all of a sudden the Camera
Wizard Box does not come up when I connect my Nikon
Digital Camera to my computer. Clicking on the camera
and scanner icon under the start button does not help, it
comes up only as the scanner and not the camera.

Any help on how to get the wizard come up when I plug in
my camera will be greatly appreciated.
