Hello.. I'm looking to buy a camcorder for a xmas gift.. to be used to
convert old vhs tapes to digital... then to burn onto cd's or dvd's ?
also a good quality camcorder... $400-$500 is the price range ?
can anyone recomend a cam/ brand ?
I'm debating between the canon zr85 and a sony, I see the sony's can also be
used as a web cam too..

thanks John for that link,, looks very good and easy, but I also want a
digital video camcorder in the mix...
