call of duty does not load menu texts

Hi,

I have just installed call of duty I in my windows vista business.

The install process was ok.. but when I load the game there is no menu...
the links are there but they invisible.

What kind of error is this ? is there any fix ?

Sounds like a video card driver problem, but since you didn't list your
video card, your system specs or anything else it's hard to say.

Haven't tried my CoD yet, I might have to install it tonight though. CoD is
an old game by Windows standards, since the game was developed long before
Vista, who knows. Might try to use Quake 3 troubleshooting suggestions (if
you can find them), I believe the CoD engine is the same.

My computer is a Dell one.

AMD ATHLON X2 3800+
2GB RAM
Nvidia 6650 onboard.

I am using nvidia windows vista serie 6 drivers.


I will look for quake3 walk arounds for vista. (I am using vista business )
