Calendaring Without Email

Is it possible to have Exchange Calendaring without email? I have a client
who wants users to have access to Calendaring but no email due to spam filter
costs.

Yes, you can use exchange and not enable email to the internet (or use it to
collect already-filtered email from another server). You will need to set
up internal email accounts and if they use internet email, I'd recommend
configuring the accounts to use a legit internet email address on the accts
(such as from accounts hosted elsewhere) and let exchange send outbound
mail. This way the users can use the exchange mailbox for mail and
calendaring will work better.
