Calendar using IMAP through Exchange?

Is there any way to view your calendar through IMAP from an exchange server
so it looks like I would see when I'm hooked up directly to the server using
exchange service or OWA?

Right now I only see appointmen approvals etc, not the actual appointments
for the given day.

Natively - no. The support for other item types isn't in IMAP.
there is a 3rd party app that can allow the viewing of other items in IMAP
folders but I'm unsure if it will actually connect to Exchange.
