Calendar Scheduling

I have Exchange 2000 server, one of our users is remote, connecting only to
get POP mail. Can she schedule meetings and invite others who are not part
of our organization but who are using Outlook clients?

I know I could test this but these are clients she's working with. Before
she looks like she's sending idiot emails, I'd like to know if anyone thinks
or knows if it will work or not.
