Calendar options

How do I get my calender to show the day ? i.e. "Friday" 6th Jan

I can not see the "day" anywhere just the number and year?

Please help
 
Make sure your Long Date format includes the token for day name (dddd) here:
Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Click Customize > Date tab
