Calendar Category Colors

If I use the Calendar Printing Assistant to print appointment locations
(since Outlook Calendar cuts off text and you can't see locations anymore),
is there a way to print the individual appointment category colors? I only
seem to be able to change the overall calendar colors in the Calendar
Printing Assistant program.

No, it doesn't support printing colored appointments, other than the simple color coding to show which calendar they are from.
