Cached mode delay on updating a public folder

We use public folder to store a list of jobs we have to do.

We all use cashed exchange mode so we can use the junk mail filter.

How ever, with this turned on the public folders often take 5mins + to update.

Is there anyway I can decrease the time it takes before outlook checks for
changes?

Even pressing send\receive doesn't update the folder.
I often find the only way is to close outlook down and open it again.

This is very frustrating!

Try posting to an Exchange group for a faster answer. Also, try searching
the group first to see if it has been asked and answered before.
