cached information

I know that once you send someone an email, the next time
you send to them you will only need to type the first few
letters of their name and the rest will autofill for you.
This is because the information is cached somewhere,
right ? Is this cached info in a file somewhere ? I have
a user that will be having Outlook reinstalled and we dont
want to loose all the current cached info. Using Outlook
2002, SP3.
