Hello,
When I start typing in the To: box outlook 'remembers' the address. I have
some addresses that are no longer valid, is there a way to either clear out
this 'cache' completely or just remove certain ones?

For example, if I start typing in tomp, I might get a pick list for
tom.petersen@ or a tom_petersen@, I don't want the tom_petersen@ to be
remembered anymore...

TIA!

Thanks Sue!!!

Just select and press Delete when you see an outdated one pop up.

Tom,

We developed utility that enables users to open, add, edit, delete this
autocomplete information. Our "Add" features was a one at a time process.
We've received so many requests that we are adding an "import" feature that
will be tailored for reading Outlook Contact Export files (TEXT and CSV
formats) and import them into your autocomplete file.

This feature is NOT complete, but will be added any day.

If you want to write me directly, I can e-mail you when that feature is in
our Owtlook Autocomplete file editor. You can find us at

Tom,

Sorry I didn't realize that your problem was such a basic one, please
disregard my note about the utility!

FYI, when you delete as instructed, it will not appear anymore that is
correct, however, the record is not removed, just "marked for deletion" so
to speak. That's usually enough for most people!
