I have Comp Assoc EZ trust suite. I did a virus scan. It scanned about
11,800 things, then shut down. It does it repeatedly. When it gets to
"C:\I386", it ALWAYS SHUTS DOWN, completely. It lets me restart &
when I do another virus scan, it shuts down again. Help! What is the
prob? If this is a virus, why didnt EZ trust stop it? Thanks!

I386 is not usually at C: drive.
It is usually in Windows\ServicePackFiles\I386.
If it is in the servicepackfiles, you can eliminate the 1st one.

If windows come pre-installed then it would definatley be on the C: Drive, I
know for a fact that Acer laptops have I386 on the C: drive because I have
one.

Although personally I burn that folder on the C: drive to disc and then
delete it as its not needed for the computer to operate on a daily basis, if
it needs the I386 folder I just stick the disc in when it wants to access the
folder.
