C:\ disappeared from menu

C:\ disappeared from submenu "Accessories" - how to bring back ?

You must've had Windows Explorer named C:\

Try this...

Paste this in the Start | Run box and click OK...
%allusersprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories

Right click in the right hand pane | Point to New | Click Shortcut |
Paste this in the Location box %windir%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c: |
Click the Next button | Type C:\ in the Name box | Click the Finish button

got error message but this was what created an idea -
1. search for c:\ and after recovery, 2. copy to resp folder ...
