Bypass Welcome Screen on Return From Standby

Back in Jan. 2004 I posted a similar question and received a good answer. I
found the question and the answer by Googling the XP groups. However, it
doesn't seem to work now. It has been a long time since I have had Standby
activated and have just re-activated it.

My machine is set up to automatically log on to my user account named Main.
However when I return from Standby, the Welcome Screen appears and I have to
select Main. The suggestion offered back in 2004 was, Go to your
Screensaver tab in Display Properties and remove the
check next to "on resume, display Welcome Screen".

Well, that box is still unchecked but I don't automatically go to Main now
that I have Standby activated again.
The only thing that comes to mind related to this problem is SP2 is now
installed. Of course, it wasn't back then. Could this have something to do
with it?

Any help will be appreciated.
