I hope to buy Norton Ghost 9 to back up my entire hard drive.
I've found that the price in the UK varies from £111 down to £17 (Norton
sell it for £40).
My question is this: I've seen this software for sale at TWO prices by the
same company, Pyramid Distribution. They sell it boxed at £30 or an OEM
version for £17. What is the difference? Surely both will be useable for
ever? (or maybe not?).
Guidance appreciated.

You'll have to read Symantec's OEM Ghost license to be certain, but
normally, an OEM license is permanently bound to the first computer on
which it is installed, and may not be transferred to any subsequent
computer.
