I want to have a button that will advance through the presentation with
animations and everything.
The way i have it set up now the button is hyperlinked to advance to next
slide which totally disreguards the animations (text wipes) and advances with
out showing them.

If you have set slide transition times, the F5 key will start the
presentation from slide 1 and use the timings you have set throughout the
show. Is this what you mean?

One idea: Use an appear animation to set the button to not appear until
after the other animations are completed. This way, it can't be clicked
until the other animations are done.
