Business Contacts fields on Account Form Changed

somehow the fields displayed in this grid changed. I no longer see the name
of the contact, just the job title, phone and email.

How do I get it back and how can/could I customize this region?

Hi pdgboston,

I am pretty sure that one cannot "customize" the grid inside Account form.
I am asking my team on how you can get the grid back to the way it is
before. This might take time if we need to identify the issue. Please be
patient...

I restarted the BCM and everything came back as normal. So it is not a huge
issues. However, I am interested in finding out if I can change the fields
in the grid so any information you can provide would be appreciated.

Thank you for getting back to us and letting us know that the grid had gone
back to normal.

You cannot customize the contacts grid inside Account form as far as I
know... Sorry!

I have just had this same problem. I was able to recreate it randomly. I am
currently calling my clients and I add a business note. If I get the voice
mail, I add a time stamp to the note and save it but don't close the note. I
then close the account though.
I then go to the next account doing much the same. I did 2 accounts this
way and the 3rd account when I opened it the Primary and Full Name columns
were gone.

I have tried this on both the Vista and XP platforms and on the 3rd or 4th
account that I open, the Primary and Full Name columns disappear.

I am currently using Outlook Business Contacts 2007 version 3.00.7311.00

Outside of the customizing part of the question, I have also intermittently experienced columns disappearing in the contact list under accounts. Closing BCM seems to be the only way to fix it that I have found.

This happened to me also, what causes it to not show "name"?

Sounds like a bug. Do things behave properly if you close the note
before closing the Account form?

so far it seems to "reset" when I close Business Contact Mgr & Outlook, then
re-open...

We are experiencing the same problem on Vista and BCM 2007. Any ideas from
Microsoft other than describing the issue as a "BUG"?

I am having the same problem. It seems to happen after a pop up window like
the reminder window pops up. I have this happening to all the text fields in
both the accounts display and the contacts display. The only way I have
found to clear it is to close and re-open bcm.
