business contact manager backup

Whenever I attempt to backup my Business Contact manager database using the
backup process from the file menu in BCM Outlook, I get an error message
saying that I have an invalid drive type for back up. I am trying to back up
to either a CD or DVD. Both are rewriteable disks.
