Bushlink USB 2.0 Drivers

I upgraded my 2002 Sony Vaio w/2.0 USB. I get an error
saying, "your system has recovered from a near fatal
error" and identifies an unknown driver associated with
the installation of new hardware. Is it that XP Home
will not accept this type of upgrade? Have there been
others to experience similar errors. Thanks
