Burning DVD Movies

I've built a beautiful movie in MS Movie Maker from our
family vacation. I saved it as a DV-AVI and imported it
to MGI Video Wave so that I could save it as an MPEG-2.
The goal being that I burn the movie to a DVD so that
family members can watch the movie on their DVD players
at home.

The problem is that I can't get it from my computer to a
readable form on a DVD. I have Roxio CD Creator 5.X
basic, but after I burned my first DVD I find that Roxio
only plays data DVDs.

What software do I need to buy in order to burn a video
DVD?
