Jeff

I have downloaded music from Wal-Mart and want to burn it
to a CD. Problem is my CD burner (nor DVD burner) do not
show up on the right side of the Burn to CD pane. I can
click on Tools / Options / Devices and there they are but
the right side pane continues to show 'No Devices Found'.
I am using Windows Media Player 9. Anyone seen this
before or know how to fix it?

Jeff

Go again to tools/options/devices tab
Click the Properties button for the drive
Then click the Recording tab to tick "Enable CD Recording on this Device"
Click Apply and OK.
If no recording tab, you'll need to check your soundcard installation for updates.

Thanks but I have to ask a dumb question. If there is
no 'recording' tab, how do I update my soundcard if it
came with my pc?

Thanks again for your help.

Jeff

Go to the website of the manufacturer for driver updates. The below website
has all the drivers listed, all you need is the make to find it and download, you
can find that under the Control Panel/System/Device Manager:

Sound card drivers
http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/
