Burning Data to DVD as a Backup

Im using XP SP2 and was wondering if I could use explorer to click and drag
files Id like to backup onto my DVD-R/RW drive?

I dont have any additional software for burning installed. Do I need some?

XP does not natively burn DVDs. You will need 3rd party burning software
which should have come with your drive.

Thanks--that was the one I was going to suggest. I used to recommend
Burn4Free until they loaded it with malware a few weeks ago.

That will work, but I had a terrible time trying to uninstall it, would
never use it again. Try burn4free, should do the trick.
