Burning CD

Hi to all,
a friend of mine asked me if I can resolve a problem about Windows XP
burning CDROM feature. I tell you as he has told me :)
I have a folder with some files to be burnt and so I clicked "send
to..." CD-ROM drive from the contextual menu of the folder.
The problem is that my CD-ROM drive isn't a burning unit and so the
wizard started normally, but obviously it didn't allow me to burn my CD.
I aborted the operation, but now the folder is empty.
Where are my files and how can I recover them? :-( Anybody knows?

thx a lot in advance

Gionny

the files should be on your machine where you left them, when you select
files to be burned it only copies the files to a temporary staging area ready
for the burning process to begin, and when you delete them, it only deletes
them from that temp storage area, so any files you selected to be burned
should still be on the pc in the same place.

pete ;-)
