"Bulk sends" error message

I sent an e-mail to about a dozen addressees, all of whom were in my Outlook
address book. I got an "undeliverable" message back, containing this error:



[first address] on 12/1/2004 10:57 AM
The message contains a content type that is not supported
[our server] #5.6.0 smtp;560 5.6.0 bulk sends not permitted>

There were two of these on the message, both of them addressed to guys at
the same destination. All of the other addressees received their message
with no problem. Is this a case of the server at the far end simply
rejecting the e-mail because it had multiple recipients? Anything we can do
here?

Probably not, other than to use Wordmail merge.
