Hi,
I installed the built in SMTP Server and IIS on Win XP
Pro. I was trying to set it up so that I can have my own
web server. I checked with my ISP and port 25 is not
blocked. I do not like my ISP mail because it takes to
long for the mail to be delivered. I want the server to
be able to send and recieve e-mails. I have a web page
set up and a Dynamic DNS name set up.

Thanks for any help,
Kevin

What problems are you having? Are you not able to use your SMTP server? What
mail client? What errors do you get?

Note - you can't receive mail on your server - SMTP is for outbound mail.

Go to microsoft.public.inetserver.iis.smtp_nntp and get the explanations why
you cannot do what you want.
