Hello,

One of the systems in my network reboots everyday, the log shows the
following:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Save Dump
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1001
Date: 10/27/2004
Time: 8:47:21 AM
User: N/A
Computer: EDIPC
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e
(0xc0000005, 0xbfd20bbd, 0x00000000, 0x000000c8). Microsoft Windows 2000
[v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini102704-01.dmp.

Any information on troubleshoting this would be appreciated.

Hi Marco Dugas:

Take a look at these sites, they might help you fix that reboot problem:
1st: it is a blue screen. Go to the mentioned pc, then My computer
properties, advanced, startup and recovery, uncheck the automatically reboot
option so you can examine the error when it occurs (under W2K. XP is lightly
diferent):

3rd: Now that the problem is identified, go ahead and fix it.
