the computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.the bugcheck
was:0*0000001e
(0*c0000005,0*a0003710,0*00000000,0*00000008).microsoft
windows2000[ v15.2195].the o.s i'm running is windows 2000
proffessional

This is the 0x1E error, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. And
there was an access violation from a read function. Best guess: bad driver,
typically video, or a specific driver or system file named in the Event Viewer
report of the bugcheck. Other problem areas might be bad RAM, followed
by improper bios configuration setup, esp. related to memory usage.
