bucketstrip.xml

Does anyone know what bucketstrip.xml is? This file gets stored in my temp
internet folders and I cannot delete them. I found something regarding
photobucket, and my wife does have an account there, but I can't figure out
how to delete the folders with this in it.

Clearing cookies and cache will not do it and I have searched for a virus
with McAfee and the PC is clear.

Brook,

Have you tried deleting from Safe Mode?

* Start > Run > type msconfig, click OK > BOOT.ini tab, check SAFEBOOT,
click OK
NOTE: If on Local computer, click OK ('MINIMAL' is selected by default),
if on a Network , check NETWORK, click OK
* restart computer, when in Safe Mode, open Windows Explorer, locate the
file & delete

To get out of Safe Mode

* Start > Run > type msconfig, click OK > General tab,
* check 'Normal Startup-load all device drivers & services', click OK
* restart computer

No, nothing was installed from photobucket, but my wife has uploaded pictures
to their site. I check add/remove programs and there is nothing installed
from them.

I tried it in Safe Mode and it did not work. The temporary folders were
still there with the Single file bucketstrip.xml (sometime there would be
bucketstrip[1].xml and buckestrip[2].xml).

I finally tried logging out of that user and going in via another user where
I was able to navigate to the temporary folders and delete them.

I cannot figure out how the file got there, nor why it does not delete.

I normally maintain my wife's PC from my laptop but ever since I upgraded to
Win XP ME I have access to view but it doesn't allow me to delete (even
though I have allowed the temp folders to be shared with rights to change and
edit. I have posted about this a few times with limited to no response to
help me resolve this problem.
