BT broke the internet

it's the weekend, I wanna know who goes breaking the internet on the weekends? FFS!

Saw this posted on several other sites. Are you using BT's own DNS? That seems to have been the culprit.

Just looking again, maybe not just a DNS issue, more of a routing problem...

Strange how my ISP (Plusnet) wasn't affected, even though they are owned by BT.

it is/was a routing 'problem' as I could visit some sites, just a few, but not my games.

still, it didn't take that long for the 'fault' to be 'repaired' ... maybe a stransitergalatical node was a wee bit iffy.

No probs here (Zen/local exchange) apart from the usual archaic speeds the local exchange offers.

I swear that local GPO building is powered by valves and employs a couple of suffragettes.

I did see the wonderful BT making the BBC online news with this issue. Hee hee (Sorry Mucks)
