I am getting a BSOD with the error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I receive this
error everytime the PC starts to load Windows. I am able to get into safe
mode and have not found any errors in the event log. I tried to run
memtest86 and when it gets to the 7th test it stops and says unexpected
interrupt - halting. I tried to do a repair of the OS but when I get to the
screen that allows you to select repair or clean install, it blue screens
again. Someone please help me!!!!

Thanks for the response, but I have not installed any new software or updated
drivers. And I can't do a repair cuz it blue screens when I get to the
screen to select repair

Safe mode boot success - following normal boot failure - indicates (99%
sure) a driver problem. Initial first diagnostic step - run>msconfig>select
"Selective startup">uncheck "Load startup items"> reboot.

If Memtest86 is having problems checking your RAM then you likely have
either defective RAM or some other hardware issues.

Get a "second opinion" by downloading and running DocMemory
http://www.simmtester.com

Also try TuffTest (there is a free version) from
http://www.tufftest.com

Good luck

An overclocked processor, or one that is overheating may also cause this set
of symptoms. In my case, underclocking the processor, and Athalon XP 3200
showed that it was not working properly at rated buss speeds.
