Browsing and Error Report Help

J

JJ

Whenever I browse certain websites like Amazon.com,
IMDB.com, EW.com and some others an error report pops up
that reads:

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

and the error report sends this type of information...
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: comctl32.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1106 Offset: 0003d7bb

Then it asks to either send an error report or to not
send... Can anyone assist in disabling this or correct
this... Is this some form of virus or is this a
common 'bad thing'... help
..

You may look at this page for some clues but not refers to problems with
IExplore.exe

Did you install any new software/hardware recently?

Check the version of your .dll file against this database. Make sure you
have the correct version.
