browser window shuts down

Please Help!

Recently installed IE6. Trouble starts when try to get
into Hotmail. Can get into the main MSN window, but when
try to log into hotmail itself, IE gets to the blue
background, it encounters an error, and shuts down.

The brower window closes, and I am presented with this
message: "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."

I have the option of restarting explorer, and if I send an
error report. I have done this repeatedly, but now don't
bother as it seems an absolute waste of time - it is the
same problem occuring over and over and over!

Incidently, it only affects the browser window that I use
to access hotmail. I have have many others open at the
same time, yet these are unaffected.
