Hello Everyone,
I am having a very annoying issue with IE6 on my XP system.
I had the Ebay Toolbar installed and it worked fine for
many weeks. Then one day I noticed that it was no longer
displaying at all anymore. So I uninstalled it and
reinstalled it again but never got it to display again so I
just uninstalled it and left it off.
After that, my browser never worked right again. After I
open a new browser window it is fine for the first 5
seconds. After that, the window title bar becomes inactive
as if I clicked into a different program when I didn't.
However, the page still continues to load ok.
This in turn seems to somehow affect my keyboard and my
mouse. If I try to type anything it appears in all caps, or
not at all. If I use my mouse too much then it selects
everything on the page. Or if I use the scroll button on
the mouse, it goes back one or two pages.
However, if I leave this window open in the background for
a long time and do not use it at all. Then come back much
later (hours) it works fine and remains active.
I have AdAware and Ad Watch Monitor and all the cleaning in
the world has not solved this issue. I also have Norton and
a Firewall, and have the most recent version of IE6.
Does anybody have any idea on how I can attempt to correct
this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!
