browser size and history

when I am at a sight that has link that opens in new
window it often is vey tiny. It resizes but these windows
used to always open same size as orginal. Also, sites
that have multiple links no longer indicate links that
were already opened. My history is set as 5 days and
shows all sites for multi days. this has been occuring
since I have been in adware hell and have been deleting
those files

Windows size issues.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window last.

Could mean that your Temporary Files Folder index is damaged.
Clean your TIF with Tool/Internet options. If still no joy:

How do you delete the parasites. Try at least AdAware.
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
