Browser shuts itself down when entering certain sites...

My web browser shuts itself down when I go to various web
pages. It now won't let me visit the time.gov page for the
central United States time zone as well as various other
seemingly random pages. Any suggestions?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back

Deleting the scumware didn't help. I used both Spybot and
Ad-Aware and the pages still close.
