internet explorer keeps shutting itself down

after installing sp2, certain sites that I frequent cause
internet explorer to shut itself down. It says that it's
ran into some type of error. Now I cannot visit these
sites and need a remedy for the problem.

I'm also experiencing the same issue. It looks like this
problem is happening more and more often. I think it's
time for Microsoft to take a look at their product and
come up with a solution. Any information would be
appreciated.

I too am having a problem with sp2 having catastrophic errors in internet
explorer. it even went so far for me that when the windows popup telling you
about the error comes up it contains a link to microsoft support topics and
that crashed. now isnt that ironic. they try to tell you whats wrong and
their program wont even allow you to see it.

if anyone has suggestions please help
