I have a problem and cannot figure it out!
My problem happened overnight.
My Internet Explorer or Windows XP doesn't remember the
size I last left my browser set to. When I open up a new
browser or click a link, my window browser use to
remember the the last size i resized my browser, even
after a reboot. Now mysteriously overnight it opens up
to a default size EVERYTIME!!! even if i resize it and
try it again over and over!!! What the HECK??!! I have
had my PC for 8 months and never had this EVER
happen???!!!
HELP!!!

Hi

Drag the window to the size you want, then close it using File>Close/Exit.
Also check for any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:

Hi!, thx for your response. We are almost back home!
This worked but it only remembers the size and does not
open the the browser in the same spot as I left it. How
do I accomplish this? And what caused this to suddenly
happen?(Drag the window to the size you want, then close
it using File>Close/Exit.)
Also check for any spyware that may be on your system:
I do have this Spyware program but I have always had it
and have not messed with it at all. (Ad-Aware -

Well this worked initially, (Drag the window to the size
you want, then close it using File>Close/Exit). But it
only remembered the size I resized it and did not
remember its position. It kept pushing it to the
top/left instead of remembering where I placed it
(centered). Then I went and right-clicked the task bar
at the bottom and clicked Cascade Windows (like an idiot)
and now it doesn't work at all anymore AGAIN!
I have Ad-aware but I have always had it and I never mess
with it or its settings. So why has this suddenly
happened???!!! I know I am not going crazy because for 8
months I have had my browser sizes and positions
remembered. Even after logging off and back on.
PLEASE HELP!

Hi

View settings are limited to 400. Try the following link to increase those
settings to 8000:

I have the same problem.. a couple of weeks ago my system changed from remembering the last size of the explorer window used. Now everytime I open Internet Explorer I have to resize the window. Anyone's help on fixing this would be helpful.
