Browser problem

When I try to access a web site from my home page I get a
flag "This program had performed an illegal operation and
will be shut down"..."Invalid page fault in module
MSVCRT.DLL @******".....I have MS Explorer 6.0.28 w/sevice
pack 1.....I have tried Norton fixes and patches from MS
but no go....also downloading Explorer again but still no
go....I am forced to shut down exsplorer.....can someone
help me?....thanks...Ruane
