Hi,
Explorer responds: "This program has performed an illegal operation
and will be shut down........"
Details: Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module MSVCRT.DLL at
017f:780154a7

Can anyone help me with this please.

Thanks so very much Frank. The duplicate file issue/renaming worked.

Have to point out - as it may be of assistance to you - that the DLL Help
directed by you appeared unable to allow proper language/product/file entry
by user, defaulting to .NET product (i think). Also, PRODUCT Windows 98
appears unavailable, but even if it was available, it might not have hepled
due to alleged problem above - or, perhabs I am just not operating the DLL
search properly.
