I believe I've been hijacked. I have been trying to
download CWShredder but everytime I click on the download
button, nothing happens. Ive tried downloading it
directly from the IP address and all I get is a bogus web
search page. Also, I wanted to clear my cache and temp
internet files and when I go to Tools, Internet options
It seems my General Tab has also been hijacked. Does
anybody know how to get it back?

Thanks for your help.

try spywareinfo.com, or major geek for cwshredder. do you
have any virus software. you can try this to clear temp
files, run-type %temp%- ok

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
