Browser overtaken by Optimizer

When I enter an invalid URL, instead of the MS search page
I now automatically transfer to an annoying page
from "Internet-Optimizer". Can anyone tell me how to
redirect this process back to MS, Google, or ANYTHING
other than this flashing ad?

Install, reboot, read FAQ and overview, use online update feature to obtain the
latest reference files, scan for Spyware much like you would with your
