Browser Hijack

Hi. hope someone can help. I am using Windows XP Home edition with Service
pack 2 and IE 7. I went to a website that froze my system up. So I hit
control+alt+delete and end task for IE. This closed out IE and i sent the
report to Microsoft. I ran an Ad-aware scan and quarantined all the tracking
cookies. Then I ran a virus scan with Norton using the most updated
definitions. Do I need to do anything else to protect the integrity of the
operating system?

Just stay away from bad Hackers/websites and keep an eye for any up-normal
Behavoir on your system and the Traffics generated from/to your computer.
