Browser Getting Slow/Laggy

Hey there, recently my browser has started to get slow
whenever I'm on a page with, what I think is the problem,
lots of text or coding. When I try to scroll with the
wheel it lags, or jumps, when I try to type a message
it'll often be as if the ram was trying to catch up while
I type (Like, I type, but then only after I stop does the
verticle line thingy start moving and catch up with the
text I typed). Has anyone had this problem before or can
help me?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
