Browse List issues

Good day,

I have a W2K AD domain and I'm having an issue when users go to the Network
Neighborhood and try to browse our domain. It only show's the machines for
one location. The second site PC's and servers do not appear in the browse
list. If I goto the run command and attempt to attach to the server it
does. I've reviewed the log files and everything appears to be running
correct. What can I look at to make sure everything appears in the browse
list? The site's are connected via a VPN connection, and I'm thinking that
is where the issue is happening.

What kind of VPN connection connects the sites? What's your DNS setup?

Browsing relies on Netbios broadcast or WINS server to exchange browse
lists. NetBios broadcasts are blocked by routers, so basically WINS server
is probably the best way to solve your issue. Install WINS server and point
your clients to it.
