Brower transfers to unwanted web site.

When I click on the address to certain web sites, before the web site can load, my browser transfers to another web site. In particular, "http://smart-finder.biz/1519". It might be that the site I am trying to load is slow to load. I have not found any documentation on this. Can anyone help?

smartfinder.biz is a hijacker

Do a Google search for Spybot Search and Destroy and/or Ad-
aware. These are free spyware removal programs.

For better info, post this in the security/virus forum.

Smartfinder is a CWS variant.

CWShredder from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html should
remove it. You may have to run CWShredder from safe mode.

And, you should visit Windows Update. The last few security updates for IE
have blocked the exploit used by coolwebsearch.
